Oops...I did something permanent
Plus: how you can be apart of it...
I just stamped something into the public eye for all of time…
This:
It’s art on the Bitcoin blockchain.
You may have heard of NFTs before.
Beeple’s $69 million dollar sale.
Christie’s, Sotheby’s, and all the art houses rushing in.
Monkey pictures selling for six figures.
Those are the hottest stories around NFTs in the last year or two.
What I’m talking about today are different.
They’re called “Ordinals”.
And it’s new. Like a few months new.
Why is everyone going wild over these digital objects?
Because they’re permanent.
Regular NFTs on Ethereum are usually not permanent.
Said another way, they aren’t “on-chain”.
That really just means the art can get lost if a company that hosts websites (Amazon) gets hacked.
That can’t happen with Ordinals.
Why?
Because Ordinals are put directly on top of Bitcoin (sats).
And also because there is no Bitcoin company.
It’s run on a bunch of computers around the world.
This makes it strong.
That’s important because when one person or entity has all the power…well, you know the quote.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Because…
If you don’t have the freedom to transact, you don’t really have any freedoms.
Yes, it’s weird. But money really is the foundation we built our society on.
And now new money has arrived.
And it’s getting built on with cool art stuff.
Want to get ahead of everyone else by collecting that art stuff?
Then hit reply with one of the items from my gallery below:
I’ll send you a piece for a price you name.
Pay what ya want.
Here’s how it works.
Just reply with the name/price of the piece you want
I’ll send directions
You get your art within 48 hours
Peace,
Brandon “permanent art“ Chin
P.S. According to yesterday’s poll, some of you do use crypto regularly.
If you want to explore options for supporting the dome house project with those Internet coins, reply with “magic”.
